Depilatory waxing is the temporary removal of hair.  After waxing, the area is hair-free until a new root is formed and the hair grows out again.  The length of time for re-growth varies from area to area, but usually will be about three to four weeks on lips and chin and about five to six weeks on legs.  With proper waxing, re-growth is softer and becomes noticeably sparser.  Hair should thin out after one waxing, but areas shaved for years will take about three treatments to thin.  Re-growth is faster on the lip and bikini line.  More frequent waxing is usually required in these areas, quite possibly every two to four weeks. 

Hair must be of sufficient length before waxing can be effective.

The use of a good loofah mitt on the legs at home just prior to the next appointment will greatly improve the chances of a really clean waxing.

The time it takes to perform waxing will vary with each person depending on the amount of hair to be removed and therefore the price of the service will depend upon the amount of time needed to perform the service.  Please keep this in mind when making your appointment.
